The BLF1 is designed to be fitted to the rear brake light so that when you apply your brakes the light flashes a set amount of times before staying on. This is to make you more noticable when braking so that other vehicles behind can react quicker.
The amount of flashes can be set by the user upto 8 flashes along with the speed of flashes from 1 flash per second down to about 6 flashes per second.
